My journey into horology began with a family heirloom, an 1885 Columbus Watch Company pocket watch passed down through generations. When my father entrusted it to me, it no longer kept time. Driven by curiosity and a lifelong respect for craftsmanship, I set out to restore it myself.

That single project sparked a deep fascination with the intricate art of mechanical watchmaking. I immersed myself in the world of timepieces, studying their design, engineering, and enduring beauty. Over time, that passion evolved from a hobby into a calling.

As a 747 captain, precision and attention to detail have always defined my life. The same principles that guide aviation, mastery, discipline, and trust in mechanical perfection, mirror what I love most about fine watches.

In 2025, I founded Ancient City Timepieces to share that passion with others who appreciate the artistry and heritage of horology. Every timepiece we offer represents more than luxury, it embodies craftsmanship, history, and timeless value.
